I'm actually going to start making an effort to build my Cocktail Cabinet now. I'll start with a quick rundown of the hardware that I'm going to use as the actual build amounts to some rectangle pieces of mdf at the moment. The pictures are pretty self explanitory, hardware is to be mounted inside the cabinet, possibly on a hacked up motherboard tray. The motherboard is fairly small, which will give me flexibility on where it can be installed. The system uses an atx power supply, so I'm going to have to mount a switch somewhere to turn it on. The monitor that i'm going to use may be a little on the small side, but i'll give it a run and decide if I need to upgrade or not. I might as well, the monitor doesn't get used at the moment. Controls and Ipac were purchased from Ozstick. The Ipac allows you to wire up the joysticks and buttons with ease, and plugs into the keyboard port. The cabinet is to be loosely based on a Pacman cocktail cabinet. The cabinet base is 45cm wide and 50cm deep. I've decided to keep the height at around 60cm as it allows me to use smaller pieces of mdf (less cutting required). Original pacman cabinet bottom sections are 65cm high. I originally wanted to build a smaller cabinet, but after measuring the monitor and computer dimensions, It was obvious that this would not be possible.
